It has been one month and five days since my first post; however I’d like to think I could update a little more often than monthly. I’m going to set myself some rules for this blog, and I’m going to post them up here for all to see – that way, I can’t cheat! Or at the least I’ll be less likely to. I imagine many blogs go down the path of having a few mundane lists of what the blog owner did on a given day posted up before the blog is left to stagnate forever.

This second post, like the first, is a meta-post – a blog post about the blog. Hopefully meta-posts will soon become the minority and I’ll have some issues worth discussing up here, but I expect I’ll have at least one more to post before I really begin. If this blog is a story, then these posts are the orientation, or the exposition – they’re the slightly boring setup that it is necessary to get done and out of the way before the “real” posts start pouring in.
